Donald Trump Vs Kamla Harris

Kamala Harris has now overtaken Donald Trump in Iowa — a surprising turn of events for both Democrats and Republicans who had nearly dismissed the state's presidential race as a guaranteed Trump win.

A recent Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll indicates Vice President Harris is ahead of former President Trump 47% to 44% among likely voters just days before a crucial election that seems evenly matched in essential battleground states.

These findings come after a September Iowa Poll that revealed Trump with a 4-point advantage over Harris, and a June Iowa Poll demonstrating an 18-point edge for him over Democratic President Joe Biden, who was then considered the likely Democratic nominee.

“It’s difficult for anyone to claim they anticipated this,” remarked pollster J. Ann Selzer, president of Selzer & Co. “She has undeniably surged into a commanding position.”

Harris leads Trump among prospective Iowa voters।

Potential voters in Iowa were inquired: "If the presidential election were conducted today, with candidates Kamala Harris representing the Democrats, Donald Trump representing the Republicans, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for We the People, and Chase Oliver for the Libertarians, who would receive your vote? If you have already cast your ballot, for whom did you vote?"

Less than 1% indicate they would support Libertarian presidential contender Chase Oliver, 1% would select another candidate, 3% remain undecided, and 2% prefer not to disclose for whom they have already voted.

The survey involving 808 prospective voters in Iowa, encompassing individuals who have cast their ballots and those who assert they are firmly committed to voting, was carried out by Selzer & Co. between October 28 and 31. The results have a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
